RD-101- Pregnant Bovine Reproductive Tract
Each tract includes the bovine uterus with at least 1 fetus and both ovaries. Some tracts may also include the vaginal canal and urinary bladder. These can be removed, if not wanted, by palpating for the cervix and removing the tissue distal to it.
The tracts are intended for use with the CIBT lab exercise “Dissection of the Pregnant Cow Reproductive Tract” available from West Hill BiologicalResources. These tracts are intended to be at 30-90 days gestation, although some variation is possible. Data on fetal crown rump length and weight may be obtained and used in conjunction with the CIBT lab “Fetal Development” also available from West Hill Biological Resources.
